Why is “regular and substantive interaction” so effusive? Could it be that RSI looks a lot like the wiring diagram of an enigma machine?
Well, even the enigma code was cracked. And if the enigma code can be cracked, then we can crack RSI! During this summer study session, we’ll investigate what RSI means and what it looks like and embed RSI strategies into our upcoming online courses. At the end of the first week in fall quarter, you’ll buddy up and participate in a self-check on your RSI practices and receive a stipend.
Objectives:
identify the different parts of RSI,
examine the various strategies to implement RSI in online courses,
incorporate RSI strategies into an upcoming online course,
use active learning strategies that engage students *and* meet RSI standards, and
review a colleague’s use of RSI.
Deliverable: Peer review a colleague’s RSI plan for RSI practices by September 27, 2024.
