These resources have been developed to help instructors incorporate specific strategies into their teaching and course design that foster an inclusive classroom environment. Course syllabi are reviewed annually and at random by members of the Instructional Cabinet using the tools on this page.
This template is accessible and is intended to be used to assist you in developing a culturally responsive and inclusive syllabus for your class. A great deal of thought has been put into the sequencing of the syllabus template, and the expectation is that the instructors integrate the current section order into their course syllabus.
Adapted from UCLA Center for Education and Innovation & Learning in the Sciences. As you revise your own syllabi, you might articulate these efforts in your promotion and tenure files to provide evidence of your inclusive teaching practices.
